Death By Stereo

June 22nd Death By Stereo show at The Zoo, it finally came! It felt like I was waiting for this show forever, I even went to Music Traders a few days too early to tried to get tickets...oops! Anyways I have to say it was totally worth it and more, I could not stop smiling the whole show. I've been into Death by Stereo for a long time and they were better then I even remember.
Diefenbaker opened the night up with some high energy.

Division hit the stage next with some intensity and that got Efrem from Death by Stereo to join them on stage.

Bring The Fight took the stage after the crowd kept chanting their name and they also got Paul up to sing the brohymm with them.

Save the best for last. Death By Stereo come out and I couldn't be happier to be behind the barricade, show was crazy! there was crowd surfing at the zoo and that is not easy to do without hitting a ceiling or a fan, which only happened a couple times. Efrem really got the crowd going by jumping into the crowd and letting them sing along on the mic.

Even though I got beer on me and bottles smashed on my toes, that was one of the best shows I've been to in awhile. The energy was amazing and the band members were some of the nicest dudes I've ever met. How you not be smiling after a show like that?
Check them out for sure

Flo's Pieces Of Me

June 9th long day of shooting a wedding, then went straight to the WestEnd Cultural Centre to capture Flo's cd release of "Pieces Of Me" on video. But I couldn't help myself, I'm a photographer at heart and had to snap a few photos aswell.
What an amazing show and what a great person to work with.

Mike Sanders and I worked on her newly released music video "Hateless" which is geared toward stopping bullying so check that out.

Which I also took a few pics during the shoot at Deseo Bistro on Osborne, which Alejandro was nice enough to less us use.

Check out Flo's site and pick up her new CD "Pieces Of Me"

Yay Covers!

Great night for some cool classics. June 2nd at The Pyramid we had The Runaways or A Runaway, Joan Jett cover band.

Operation Ivy Cover band with Ian from subcity taking on the vocals celebrating his birthday and he did an amazing job.
Mr. Greg Arcade shredding, Leif slapping the bass and Dilly bar hitting the skins.

And ending the night with a bang Screeching Weasel cover band with Steveo on bass, Jared mastering the vocals and guitar, Brady shredding the guitar and Shane on drums. Tunes were better than the real thing.

Great friends, great music, couldn't ask for anything more.
